One Bridal

1901 Contracting’s largest commercial project to date is the complete renovation of a 90 year old building in San Marco. The 3,541 sq. ft. two story building, located at 1712 Hendricks Ave in the San Marco neighborhood near downtown Jacksonville, is the new home of One Bridal, a woman owned luxe designer bridal boutique. The site was formerly a jewelry retailer as well as home to multiple other small businesses during its decades long history.

The renovation project is in keeping with the area’s San Marco by Design – Smart Growth Plan put forth by the San Marco Preservation Society. The plan seeks to preserve and improve the quality of life for people living, working and playing in San Marco and enhances the economic and social value, health and charm of San Marco neighborhoods. Preserving and enhancing older buildings like 1712 Hendricks is an important way to maintain the charm and history of historic areas like San Marco.
